The last few months...

All I can start with is that I'm pretty lame at this blogging game! I have all good intentions of sitting down in the evening once Harley has settled into bed but in reality that never happens!! Tidying up toys, having a shower, sleeping or tv normally takes over so I find myself not having much time to concentrate on what I want to do!
However that being said, I've found it very important as a mum to have that bit of me time every once in a while. The dishes can wait until after, the toys will all be out again tomorrow anyway and I can blog and catch up on tv at the same time!!
Here's what has happened over the last few months:

Harley turned one and we had the loveliest day celebrating with friends and family in the park with a picnic. (Harley was clearly oblivious we were all there for him and slept for hours whilst we all celebrated!) The weather was warm and sunny, we played cricket, tennis and made Daisies out of balloons for the kids. Oh and ate loads of chocolate cake obvs...

Love a good sunrise when getting up at ridiculous hours to go to work, makes the getting up part a bit nicer doesn't it?!?! Luckily this view is always from our bedroom so I get this view most mornings :)

Aaaaaaaaaand he's off!!! Walking is now happening (actually it's more like running now) and I've learnt to have eyes in the back of my head!

It was my birthday and we spent the day at Epsom race course. It was just so nice to get out of London for the weekend and have a little bit of peace and quiet away from the greyness of London. Sadly, bday luck didn't happen and I didn't choose any winners but it was a lovely, relaxing day with my family and Harley loved seeing the horses.

Now roll on autumn...

Wish list...

Whilst flicking through the iPad the other night searching the web for new clothes and accessories that I dream of owning, I decided to snapshot pics and create a little wish list of my own! (It's my birthday in less than 2 months did you know! Hint hint Ben, mum and dad!!!) :)
There's a lot of things that are catching my eye at the moment but I managed to narrow it down and these are my top picks...

1. River island Leather jacket £100
I've had my leather biker jacket for 6 years and it's finally given up life and ripped from the pocket to the armpit! It's clearly time for an upgrade and I think this is the perfect substitute.

2. Pandora silver eternity ring £55
Pretty, and will go nicely with my pandora birthstone rings! Also a sign of love and eternity!!! Ahhhhhh.... ❤️

3. Stila in the light eyeshadow palette £25
I saw this palette on a blog and the nude, lighter shades looked really nice with tanned summer skin!

4. Marc Jacobs mini baker watch in gold and mint £209
Big investment but sooooooo worth it!

5. Wool coat marks and spencer £99
Spotted this coat whilst at work and loved the shape, colour and texture. Paired with denim and a pair of Chelsea boots, this has to be my winter coat!

6. Ted baker samsung galaxy 5 phone case £29.95
There's not many pretty phone cases around for the newest galaxy and this is the best I've found by far! I love the floral design and the pastel shades. Just a shame I don't own it yet as I dropped my phone this weekend and it cracked! :(

7. Marc Jacobs Daisy dream 50ml £50
I smelt this beautiful eau de toilette whilst in duty free this summer and thought it was the perfect summer scent. Packed with hints of lychees, coconut water, jasmine, blue wisteria, blackberry and fresh grapefruit, I think it will be a great new scent for me! Oh and it also has notes of pear, sounds good enough to eat!!!

8. Laura Gravestock written heart ring £39
I've wanted this ring for AGESSSS! Laura's jewellery is absolutely stunning and is definitely worth checking out. Her cocktail rings are to die for but thought I'd be pushing it by putting one of them on my birthday list as well!!!! Lol...

9. H&M wool hat £14.99
I've never worn this style hat and normally stick to a Pom Pom beanie in colder weather. But after trying this on in store last week I decided it would look lovely with sleek hair and a dark lipstick this autumn. It also comes in a maroon colour which is equally as nice but I thought black would be more practical as it would go with everything!

Summer hols...

We recently had our first "family of 3" summer holiday to the beautiful island of Majorca. We visited the island for 2 weeks at the end of June and had the most amazing time. We swam in the sea and swimming pool daily, watched the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets and ate the yummiest food! We stayed in the resort of c'an pica fort which is about and hour and a half north of Palma, the Islands capital. It is a family resort with lots to do in and around town (not a place to go if you want to escape children!!!!) Just sayin...

Our hotel was situated on the beach right next to c'an pica fort national park. Although it looked very pretty and would have probably been a good adventure I didn't visit the park as I heard stories of how many types of bugs and creatures the park is home to! Believe me, you would have heard my screams from England!
In the evening after our dinner we would stroll along the seafront into town to have a wonder through the evening markets and the shops. The harbour had the best views of the sun setting and was so tranquil and relaxing.

\

Of course, me being me, I couldn't go a whole two weeks without shopping! So on a evening out visiting the Spanish shops I found my favourite summer shoes of all time! No exaggeration! Quite simply, I am in love ❤️

Overall our holiday was a huge success and far less stressful than I imagined travelling with a baby. He was really well behaved and loved every minute of it. My highlight, easy... spending all day every day with my Harley boo!
